Concepts are explained very nicely so that the learner evinces keen interest in the subject. The instructors and content creators took lot of efforts so that the learners can learn effortlessly.

The Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services course started as a promising entry point for understanding Microsoft Azure's foundational concepts, but my overall experience with it was underwhelming due to its shortcomings in content quality, structure, and management. Pros: Accessible for Beginners: The course does a decent job of breaking down basic Azure concepts for those with little to no prior experience with cloud technologies. Clear Objectives: The intended learning outcomes were straightforward, providing a good roadmap for what the course aimed to teach. Cons: Outdated Content: Much of the material seemed out of sync with current Azure developments. The lack of updates made the course feel less relevant and diminished its utility for anyone preparing for the AZ-900 exam or aiming to understand the latest Azure capabilities. Lack of Depth: The course content was overly simplistic, often skimming the surface rather than providing meaningful insights or practical skills. For a platform as vast and complex as Azure, this approach left much to be desired. Abrupt Management Decisions: After identifying these shortcomings, I made multiple suggestions for improvement, including updating content to align with the AZ-900 objectives and incorporating interactive learning elements. Instead of acting on this feedback, the course was left as is and eventually discontinued without adequate notice, leaving learners mid-course without clear alternatives. Unclear Future Pathways: The discontinuation of this course, alongside changes in the broader Microsoft Azure specialization, creates uncertainty for learners. Those who invested time in this course are left questioning its value as part of a broader learning path. Suggestions for Improvement: For Coursera and its partners to succeed in offering courses like this, they must: Commit to regularly updating content to reflect the rapid changes in cloud technology. Ensure courses are engaging, practical, and aligned with industry certifications. Maintain clear communication with learners, especially when significant changes or removals are planned. Conclusion: While the course provides a basic introduction to Azure concepts, its outdated and shallow content diminishes its overall value. The abrupt removal of the course only compounds the frustration for learners. I hope Coursera and its partners take these points seriously to avoid similar experiences in the future.

Good for getting an overview, but the course content is buggy. It might have been a good course in 2021. Sadly, it hasn't been updated since then, and a lot of links are broken, videos don't work, and some info is outdated (ex: the instructions on creating a sandbox and SQL DB). That this course was/is created by Microsoft, makes all this even more surprising. I hope they update the course.

There were not enough oportunities to practive things in the Azure cloud in order to explore the theoretical concepts introduced in the course. Also, some of the links to the Azure learning environment (i.e concierge subscription) provided in the course instructions did not work, which made it difficult to do the excercises without a lot of searching around for fixes.

Don't fall for the trap like I did. There is no voucher for 50% off the AZ-900 certificate exam. The links to the Microsoft Sandbox where the exercises are to be done are broken. There is no moderator in the forums and questions are not answered. The content is not too terrible so if you want to learn, just audit the courses.

The presenter clearly does not understand the material.
The majority of this course is simply a list of Azure services.
There is very little interaction and very little practical work.
Really ... this course was incredibly boring !
Coursera ... and Microsoft ... I think you can do better !!!

Not that much interactive. Seems like instructor is the just reading the text from screens. Also English Language used is kinda difficult and not have been designed to use simplest words so quite difficult for non-native English speakers.

Honestly this course feeled like a glorified add. It told us stuff we can do and what advantages we have, but failed to mention what disadvantages there are against similar solutions, thus giving us very narrow minded approach.

A little bit outdated with one video that is unavailable. Subtitles auto-generated are not always accurate and sometimes confuses. I expected better quality.

A bit of a mess. The course feels like a week long MS advertisement. There are graded assessments with questions on subjects that were not delivered yet.

A bit of a commercial approach. More schemes and representations needed, as well as explaining key concepts more extensively.

Hands-on exercises does not include all you need to be completed. I could not use sandboxes so i had to use my Azure account.
