It's a great way for people to get an intro not only to IT but to Coursera itself. The information is laid out in a very digestible format and easy to get through.

This is a great introduction to the topics of IT. I am eager to continue with the next (5) courses that will certainly help me understand concepts more for my job.

very good course. little confusing when i got to module 3 when it told me to open a new program but didnt tell me how to access it. but figured it out in the end.

A great intro to the field. Mirrors the same things that I went to school for so if anyone has doubts, this does get your feet really wet, I'd say your knee even.
